What is the difference between Fit and Crop?
“Fit” keeps the whole picture and adds a background color around it. “Crop” fills the exact size and trims the edges that don’t fit.
What size is an Instagram post?
A square Instagram post is 1080 × 1080 px, a portrait post is 1080 × 1350 px and a story or reel is 1080 × 1920 px — all available as presets.
Will resizing reduce quality?
Making an image smaller keeps it sharp. Enlarging a small image beyond its original size can make it look soft.
