Nexo VPN is a privacy app built by Nexo VPN to keep your online activity secure. This service is free to download, with premium features available through a subscription. We are committed to protecting your privacy, and this policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Data Collection

Nexo VPN operates with a strict zero-log policy with respect to your VPN browsing activity and online behavior. This means we do not gather, store, or track any personally identifiable information about your identity or the websites you visit while using the VPN.

2. Third-Party SDKs

To maintain, secure, and improve Nexo VPN, we use third-party services that may collect limited information related to app performance, diagnostics, feature usage, subscription verification, and advertising functionality.

Information collected may include:

• App interaction and usage analytics (such as feature engagement and screen activity)
• Device identifiers (such as advertising identifiers where permission is granted and device identifiers required for app functionality)
• Diagnostic information related to app stability and performance
• Subscription status verification required to enable premium functionality

Nexo VPN may display advertisements using third-party advertising providers.

Where required by Apple policies, permission will be requested before using advertising identifiers for personalized advertising.

If permission is denied, only non-personalized advertisements will be shown where supported.

4. Third-Party APIs

The app uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase for analytics, app security, and remote configuration
- Google Mobile Ads for advertising

We select providers that meet strict privacy standards. Please review each provider's privacy policy for full details on their data handling practices, as we cannot make guarantees on their behalf.

5. Purchase Information

Subscription purchases are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store.

We may process subscription entitlement and purchase verification information required to activate premium functionality and maintain subscription access.

We do not receive or store payment card information.

6. Payments

All payments for the premium subscription are handled exclusively by the App Store. We do not collect or process any payment information. You can review the subscription terms in the app’s paywall, and you can manage your subscription in your Apple ID settings.

7. Security

We apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information processed by the app.

No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Connection metadata necessary to operate VPN functionality, such as selected server information, connection timestamps, connection duration, and operational status, may be processed locally on device or temporarily processed to provide VPN functionality.

We do not log browsing history, DNS queries, website destinations, or VPN traffic contents.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

If you are located in the European Union or California, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including:

• The right to access the data we hold about you.
• The right to request deletion of your data.
• The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
• The right to withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

To provide app functionality, security protection, fraud prevention, subscription verification, and service integrity, Nexo VPN may generate or process device-related identifiers.

These identifiers are not used to monitor VPN browsing activity or website history.
