Nexo VPN — Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

By downloading or using Nexo VPN, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using the app. Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

2. Eligibility & Age Restriction

Nexo VPN is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union), you are not permitted to use this app. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the app.

3. Intellectual Property

You are not permitted to copy, modify, or tamper with the app, its features, or our trademarks in any way. You may not attempt to extract the app’s source code, translate it into other languages, or create derivative versions. The app, along with all trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property rights, belongs to Nexo VPN.

4. Purpose of the App

Nexo VPN is built to help you stay private and secure online. We may make changes to the app or its services at any time, and we will notify you in advance if there are any new charges for services.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use Nexo VPN for any unlawful or prohibited purpose, including but not limited to:

• Accessing, transmitting, or distributing illegal content.
• Circumventing applicable laws, regulations, or the rights of third parties.
• Engaging in hacking, unauthorized access to systems, or other malicious activity.
• Infringing any intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you are using the app in violation of these terms or applicable law.

6. Subscription Terms

Nexo VPN offers the following auto-renewable subscription plans:
- Weekly subscription
- Monthly subscription  
- Yearly subscription

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID upon purchase confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends, at the stated renewal price.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings within the App Store. Prices include applicable local taxes. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

Users may restore previously purchased subscriptions using the Restore Purchases option available within the app.

7. Refunds

All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. Nexo VPN does not handle payments directly and is therefore unable to process refund requests. If you would like to request a refund, please contact Apple Support directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policies.

8. User Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to keep your device and app access secure. We recommend not jailbreaking or rooting your device, as doing so removes important security protections, may expose your device to malware or vulnerabilities, and could prevent the app from functioning correctly.

9. Third-Party APIs

Nexo VPN uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase for analytics, app security, and remote configuration
- Google Mobile Ads for advertising

We select providers that meet strict privacy standards; however, we cannot make absolute guarantees regarding their data handling. Please review the privacy policies of these providers directly. Nexo VPN is not responsible for any service disruptions, inaccuracies, or data practices of third-party service providers.

10. Internet Connection Requirements

An active internet connection is required to use the app’s features. This can be via Wi-Fi or mobile data. Nexo VPN is not responsible if the app does not function fully without a connection. If you use mobile data, your network provider’s terms apply, and you may be charged for data usage. By using the app, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, we assume you have obtained permission from the bill payer to use the app.

11. Liability Limitations

Nexo VPN is not responsible for issues caused by your device, including but not limited to loss of battery power, hardware failure, or software conflicts. We also cannot take responsibility for your use of the app or any consequences thereof.

While we work to ensure that third-party services used in the app meet our privacy and reliability standards, we are not responsible for any service disruptions, inaccuracies, or downtime caused by those external providers.

We do not guarantee the app will always be error-free, but we will make reasonable efforts to keep it running smoothly.

12. App Availability and Updates

The app is currently available on iOS. System requirements may change over time. You will need to download updates to continue using the app. We do not guarantee that the app will always be updated to support every iOS version, but we will make reasonable efforts to do so and will notify you of major changes.

We reserve the right to discontinue the app at any time without notice. If the app is discontinued, your right to use it will end and you must stop using and delete it from your device.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to Nexo VPN if you violate these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete it from your device.

14. Apple Standard EULA

Nexo VPN is distributed through the Apple App Store and uses Apple in-app purchase infrastructure for subscription billing.

Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support services for the application except as required under applicable law.

Additional Apple platform terms may apply to your use of Apple services.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice. We will also post the updated terms on this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which Nexo VPN operates, except where local consumer protection laws require otherwise.
