Choose the start and end dates. The calculator shows the total days, plus the same period in weeks, months and years.
Should I include the end date?
Normally no — from 1 to 2 January is 1 day. Tick “Include end date” when counting days of a leave, event or rental where both days count.
How are working days counted?
Working days exclude weekends. You can choose Saturday–Sunday weekends or Friday weekends (Friday–Saturday or Friday only). Public holidays are not excluded.
What happens when adding a month to 31 January?
The date is moved to the last day of February (28 or 29), which is the standard rule.
Can I count days until my birthday or an event?
Yes. Set the start date to today and the end date to the event.
